I write a lot online. Whether it’s for my niche sites, article directories, Squidoo, or whatever, the bottom line is that I write…A LOT. If you’re serious about making money online, it’s an absolute necessity that you get the article writing portion of your business down to a science.
A few people can afford to pay someone else to write everything for them, but to tell you the truth, I don’t know anybody that has that kind of money. Most of us (myself included) simply can’t afford to spend that much to get started.
If you want to make money online, it’s a MUST to be able to speed up the rate at which you can produce articles for your site. The right tools can not only make the the articles you write better, but you can write faster which translates into more articles, more links and the end result will eventually be more money.
The tools you choose absolutely must to make the time you spend writing articles MORE PROFITABLE or you have wasted any investment you make.
After much research, reading and a couple of dumb, expensive mistakes (yep, I got suckered a couple of times too when I started out),I’ve finally found my own personal system that works for me. This system has really helped my article writing in every facet of my business. Best of all, it’s made the process finding profitable niches and writing articles for those niches faster and easier than ever before!
I know, I know, just spit it out already! Here’s the process I use for finding niches and writing articles. I’m going to give it to you step by step with the exact list of tools I use. Just so you know, some of the tools I use are free and some are not.
While I’m a HUGE fan of free tools and use them whenever possible, I also realized that internet marketing is like any other business and at some point I had to invest in my business for it to continue to grow.
Of course, you can pay someone to write your articles for you, but that gets expensive very quickly. Just as an example, let’s say I wanted to create a 20 page niche site and that I would be paying $3-5 per article. With an article on each page, that adds up to $60-100 of my hard-earned money for articles I only get to use once.
Some people would suggest using an article spinner as a way to get more than one use from the article, but it’s been my experience that article spinners are way more trouble than they’re worth. Whether it’s the hours you spend trying to set them up right or the hours you spend editing the gibberish they spit out, as far as I”m concerned, article spinners are a waste of time and money, but that’s just my own personal opinion.
Enough ranting about what tools not to use…let’s get back to the tools that will help you.
After seeing how much time and effort some QUALITY TOOLS would save me, the price tags on the tools I researched didn’t seem to be quite the outlandish expense I thought they were. How To Write More Articles In Less Time
#1 – Identify A Niche / Choose Your Keywords
Most of the time, I know exactly what I need to write about, but there are times when I am looking for a new niche or a new article idea. Regardless of what I need, Micro Niche Finder has been one of the most valuable tools I have.
I write a lot of content that is used to monetize pages for Adsense. While making money with Adsense is one one of the most passive ways to make money online, if you don’t have a clue which keyword in your niche are
profitable, you could be writing your little fingers to the bone building pages and pages of content that only earns a penny per click. That’s a frustrating and very disappointing way to spend your time and it’s not a smart way to do business either.
Micro Niche Finder is software for your desktop and it’s a real jewel. If I have a keyword in mind, I simply enter it into MicroNicheFinder and it gives me search results counts, compares AdWords bids for PPC results. Knowing how many advertisers par paying for ads is important. It’s also very important to know HOW MUCH advetisers are willing to pay for the #1 spot for each keyword.
Micro Niche Finder also gives me those very important long-tailed keywords that have good search volume with very little competition. Being able to squeeze into highly competitive and profitable niches that seem to be “done to death” and oversaturated is PRICELESS!
I can also compare niches if I have two in mind that I think I would like to target. Now both niches may seem to be equally profitable, but if one niche had PPC advertisers that are paying $5.00 for the #1 ad position and the other niche advertisers are only paying $0.75 for the #1 position, which niche would you choose?
But what if you’re stuck for niche or keyword ideas? The horrible “brain fart” happens to us all, but fortunately Micro Niche Finder has a “Brain Storm” option. Simply click the Brain Storm Button and the software will toss out random, broad keywords with all the information you need to identify your next profitable niche. I really don’t know of any software that could be
easier to use.
#2 – Additional Keyword Research
Never go with a single source of information. When I have keyword ideas for a niche, I double check them with the free keyword tool at SEOBook. There’s lots of free keyword information to be gathered. Enter one of your keywords into the keyword tool, choose the county you want to see results from and click the “Suggest ” button.
In just a few seconds, the SEOBook keyword tool will return the following information for you like:

# of Yahoo returns
# of MSN returns

You’ve now got all the information you need right at your fingetips to finish analyzing the potential profit of your next keyword or niche. This is really an awesome tool!
The final step is to….
#3 – Write Your Article
Alrighty then, you’ve done your research and you have a niche and a list of keywords to focus your content around. You know your keywords have the potential to make you some money online.
It’s time to start writing your articles.
I don’t know about you, but staring at a keyword and a blank piece of paper using limited knowledge of a topic can make for some really difficult writing. It can be very intimidating and extremely time consuming to try to read and research enough about a topic to feel that you actually COULD write an article that sounds like you know something about the subject.
This is where many people get discouraged and quit.
Without a doubt, this is THE most frustrating part of article writing for me personally. I just can’t pretend I know something and start writing. Besides, anyone who reads an article that’s been written by someone who hasn’t researched their topic KNOWS the article is all bull***t. It will be painfully obvious to the reader that you’re faking it.
So what do you do? How do you speed up your research time?
I ended my research frustration with a desktop program that speeds up my article research so I can write an ORIGINAL – HIGH QUALITY ARTICLE in less time. Spending less time researching niches will make you more profitable because you can spend that time writing articles instead!
How much time can you save? Just as an example, it now takes me about 15- 20 minutes from start to finish to write an article regardless of whether I knew anything about the subject before I started. It used to take me an hour or two just to research the material for a single article. Now I can write 4-8 articles in that same hour or two. In my opinion, that’s a much better use of my time.
The software program is called Instant Article Wizard. It was created by Jonathan Leger, who is well known in the internet marketing community for having great products and outstanding follow-up service and support. I had a few questions when I started using this program and the fact that I received complete answers in about 24 hours was really great. It made me feel comfortable recommending his product to someone else.
Instant Article Wizard is desktop software that is installed on your computer. What you do is open the software, enter your keyword and sub topics and let the program run. what the program does is search the internet for single sentences with your keyword and subtopics in them. It literally does your research for you.
Next, write an outline of your article from the software. The program will then break down the sentences into topics that relate to the keyword and or sub topics. You then simply choose the sentences you want in your article for each paragraph. When you have the sentences you want in place, just copy and paste the article into your favorite word processor and edit the article into your own words.
Now, before you get all upset – you will not be guilty of plagarism. This program won’t create a readable article from individual sentences. It’s not designed to work like that.
Besides, there’s really no point in just copying abstract sentences onto your site – that will get your site Google slapped and you might even get your Adsense account deleted! NOT a good thing if you’re trying to make money with Adsense.
The program is only designed to dramatically decrease the time you spend researching your niche subject so that you can write your own ORIGINAL article.
If you don’t care about duplicate content, you could PLR articles or go get some content from article directories.
Instant Article Wizard is a real time-saver for me! The bonus is that it’s super easy to use. The videos on the Instant Article wizard’s information page tell you all you really need to know. The user’s manual really isn’t necessary. I installed the program and began using it right away…it really is THAT EASY to use.
So how well does this system of mine work? I tested it out with a simple 5 page niche blog just to see how long it would take me. I started with no clue what I was going to write about.
Altogether – under 2 hours from start to finish including linking, pinging, etc… the whole enchalida!
What was the slowest part of the whole process? Finding appropriate pictures that worked well with my niche subject, setting up the affiliate links and formatting everything to make it “pretty”.
And the coolest thing…I went through the entire process, start to finish, while curled up on the sofa with my laptop, sipping hot cocoa and watching some rented movies with my daughter. I love internet marketing! There isn’t any other business I know of where you can do that…and certainly no JOB or BOSS that would let you do that! The freedom of this business is amazing!
